Sacha Arts – Principal
Sacha brings 20+
years of PR experience with high-technology companies ranging from
start-ups such as AristaSoft, Power X and TeraChip, to Fortune 100
companies, including Adobe Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Novell, Silicon
Graphics, and Sun Microsystems. Sacha is quite diverse and has excellent PR experience with semiconductors, computer peripherals, EDA, wireless, software, connectivity, mobility, VoIP, messaging, networking, storage, security and consumer technologies. Accomplishments include the successful launches of
Novell's Network Security and HP's Small Business Solutions Initiatives,
Adobe's PrintGear product introduction and the AristaSoft, Power X and
Norwood company launches. Sacha is fluent in Dutch, German and French. She
holds an International Business Degree from Intercollege in The
Netherlands and a B.S. in Public Relations with a Minor in Japanese from
San Jose State University.
Nick Cravotta – Technical Writer Nicholas
Cravotta has been technical editor for EDN, Embedded Systems Programming,
and Communications Systems Design, and was the founding editor-in-chief of
Multimedia Systems Design. He knows what makes a story newsworthy, what
editors want, and what it takes to get into print. With seventeen years
experience as a practicing engineer, he understand first-hand the issues
behind designing complex systems firsthand. He has designed hard real-time
embedded systems, written application software for PCs and workstations,
built an operating system from the ground up, developed software and
hardware development and test tools, ported software across platforms, and
even outsourced products in China. As a professional writer for more than
two decades, he has published over 300 articles in technical publications,
and his methods avoid extensive and time-consuming editing and revision.
He has also taught technical writing at UC Berkeley.
Kelly Karr – Media Relations
Kelly Karr has more than 20 years experience in high-tech public relations and marketing communications. She has developed and managed highly successful PR programs in the US, Europe and Asia that have garnered significant technology and business press coverage and helped companies grow their business through increased visibility in the market. Kelly's experience includes both agency positions as well as in-house corporate PR and marketing communications roles in high-growth publicly traded companies. Her expertise spans a wide range of markets and technologies including semiconductor, software, telecommunications, audio, optical and broadband; EDA, big data, SaS, MEMS, memory, enterprise video, consumer entertainment, pharmaceutical, bio medical, and life sciences. Kelly has experience working with a variety of companies, including Motorola, Cadence, TIBCO, Spansion, Terracotta, and Trident Microsystems.
Jamie Diamond – Media Relations For the
last 10 years, Jamie has been very successful blending his skills in PR
strategy with focused, results-oriented implementation. With a proven
track record at both the agency and corporate PR levels, Jamie is able to
see the big picture for clients as it relates to their goals. Whether it’s
a product launch, the birth of a new social website or a shift in the
market, Jamie is an expert at getting the story to its most compelling
stage and finding the right media to cover it. Over the years Jamie has
worked on successful campaigns with large companies such as Microsoft,
NetZero and SanDisk as well as smaller grass roots ventures like Blingo,
Inc., TrueDater and wikiHow. Jamie graduated from Lewis & Clark
College in Portland, Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in
Communications.
Cindy McDowell – PR Programs and Writer
Cindy has more than 20 years of high technology public relations experience, from launching startups to managing PR and communications programs for some of Silicon Valley’s most recognizable companies. With both agency and in-house experience, Cindy has a breadth of experience that covers a wide range of technologies and markets, including SaaS and Cloud solutions, big data, optical, semiconductor and networking. She has developed and managed programs to pitch and place speakers at key industry conferences and to showcase customer successes. In addition she has written executive blogs for clients that have appeared in Wall Street & Technology, APM Digest, TabTimes and Forbes, among others.
Stephen Antczak – Technical Writer Over
the last 17 years Stephen Antczak has been turning out extremely creative
and well crafted marketing communications, press releases, business plans,
sales and web content for a variety of companies. Stephen has worked with
a host of leading companies over the years including High Roller Magazine,
Planet X Prods., as well as Hollywood projects such as NO WITNESS
(feature) with Corey Feldman & Jeff Fahey, LAST SUNSET (feature) with
Corbin Bernsen & Joan Severance, JENSEN BROTHERS ULTIMATE TENNIS
(video) with Luke & Murphy Jensen. Stephen Antczak studied at the
University of Florida, Gwinnett Technical Institute and GA Perimeter
College.
